Anastasia Chebotareva

Anastasia Saweljewna Chebotaryova (Russian Анастасия Савельевна Чеботарёва, also English Anastasia Chebotareva; born August 8, 1972 in Odessa) is a Russian violinist.

Anastasia Chebotaryova has diplomas from the Central Music School in Moscow, from the class of Irina Bochkova, and the Moscow Conservatory. She made her debut at the 1989 Paganini Competition in Genoa, where she reached the fourth place. In 1991 she won the First Prize at the International Youth Music Festival in 1992 and the first prize and a special prize at the International Competition Lipizer in Italy. In 1994, she shared with Jennifer Koh at the 10th Tchaikovsky Competition second prize, a first was not awarded.

She played among other with the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio under Vladimir Ivanovich Fedosseyev, the Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. Chebotaryova has performed as a soloist throughout the world, such as London's Royal Albert Hall, the Bonn Beethoven Hall, the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Bruckner House, in the Athens Music Hall, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space Hall and Tokyo Opera City and the major halls of the Moscow Conservatory, the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic and the George Hall of the Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

She is a soloist of the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. In 2004 she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia. Chebotaryova lives in Japan.
