And Yet the Town Moves

Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru (Japaneseそれでも町は廻っている, GV "The city still revolves " ) is a manga series that is written and drawn by Japanese authors Masakazu Ishiguro. Since 2005, the still ongoing manga in the magazine Young King Ours is published, which is published by Shōnen Gahōsha. In the center of the story is very silly schoolgirl acting Hotori Arashiyama, trying to work as a maid in a cosplay restaurant, where they always itself makes life difficult.

In 2010, the manga was adapted by the animation studio Shaft as an anime television series, which was directed by Akiyuki Shimbo.

Action

Hotori Arashiyama (岚山 歩 鸟, Arashiyama Hotori ) is almost an ordinary student. The only real guest is the good and highly respected student Hiroyuki Sanada (真 田 広 章, Sanada Hiroyuki ) who falls in love at first sight in Arashiyama.

As Arashiyama this secret at school her best friends Toshiko Tatsuno (辰 野 俊 子, Tatsuno Toshiko ) and Harue Haribara (针 原 春江, Haribara Harue ) discloses, they want them to visit. They make a finding that the café in no way corresponds to their ideas. So it both want to give up. The written of artist Masakazu Ishiguro manga Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru appears since May 2005 in the monthly magazine Young King Ours, published by Shōnen Gahōsha. Anime

In 2010, the Japanese animation studio Shaft adapted the manga of the same name as a television series. Directed by Akiyuki Shimbo here. The management of the animation took over Iijima Hisaharu while Hiroki Yamamura based on the manga designed the character design.

The series was first broadcast starting on the night of the 8th October 2010 ( and thus on the previous TV day ) on TBS. Some days or weeks later, the broadcast began also on the channels Sun TV, Kumamoto Broadcasting, Chubu- Nippon Broadcasting and BS -i.

In the opening credits of the series the title DOWNTOWN by Maaya Sakamoto was used. The full version of the title was released on 20 October 2010 on the single Downtown / Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara ( DOWNTOWN /やさし さ に 包ま れ た なら), which also contained the theme song of OVA Tamayura. In the week from 18 to 24 October 2010, they reached the 5th place in the Japanese singles chart. This was mainly because the were published in this week any singles by known groups. So were located next to her also three more "Anime " singles in the Japanese top 10.

The guy was titled Maids Sanjō! (メイズ 参上! ) Underlaid was interpreted by Maids. While the seiyū of the four female, young main characters were named Maids. As the single of the same title to appear on 24 November 2010 on CD.
