André Roberto Soares da Silva

André Roberto Soares da Silva nickname Beto ( born October 25, 1981 in São Carlos ) is a Brazilian footballer who played for Mersin İdman Yurdu.

Career

Beto began with the professional football at Sport Club Ulbra. He then played for Ferro Carril Oeste and Criciúma EC. In 2010 he joined the Tunisian League for Étoile Sportive du Sahel.

In the summer, he joined the Bulgarian Litex Lovech league. After a six- year tenure here, he moved to Turkey to Gaziantepspor. Here he played three and a half seasons long. The second half of the season 2010/11 he spent at Bucaspor.

For the 2011/12 season, he broke his contract with Gaziantepspor by mutual consent and has moved within the League newly promoted Mersin İdman Yurdu. He was brought here at the request of the coach Nurullah Sağlam, with Beto already worked successfully in Gaziantepspor. At the end of the 2011/12 season it was announced that was not renewed at the expiring contract with Mersin IY.
