Andrea Coda

Andrea Coda ( born April 25, 1985 in Massa) is an Italian football player. He stands at Udinese Calcio in Serie A under contract since 2006.

Career

Association

Andrea Coda began his career in the youth teams of AS Lucchese Libertas and FC Empoli. In the season 2004/ 05 he was accepted into the professional squad of FC Empoli and could be inserted straight into the starting eleven of the Tuscans. In the same season he won with Empoli Serie B championship and went with the team to the highest Italian league. The following season played coda as a regular player and reached Empoli eighth place in Serie A. Despite this success, he then left the club and joined Udinese Calcio. In the first two years in Udine with the team he was below expectations and the team failed to qualify for the UEFA Cup. Also in the season 2008 /09 the crew of the catchment was denied the international business. In the 2009/10 season, Coda definitively established in the team and rose to the top performers in the defense on.

National

Andrea Coda went through from U-15 to all youth national teams of Italy. On 7 October 2005, he debuted in the U- 21 team of the Azzurri under coach Claudio Gentile in the match against Slovenia. Coda was appointed to the Italian team for the U-21 European Championship in 2006 and U-21 European Championship in 2007, but used in both tournaments in any game. He also took part in the selection of the Olympic football tournament in Beijing. In total, he completed 39 caps for all youth teams and scored one goal.
