Francesco Bardi

Francesco Bardi ( born January 18, 1992, Livorno) is an Italian football player. The goalkeeper is currently under contract with Inter Milan, but is on loan at AS Livorno.

Career

In the club

Bardi began his career in the youth department of the AS Livorno before he joined the Primavera team of Inter Milan in 2011. With this a few months later he won the Torneo di Viareggio prestigious and was also voted the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

For the 2011/12 season on loan Bardi moved back to Livorno, where it was used in 34 of 42 Series B games. He also ran for the first time in the Coppa Italia. In June 2012, Inter bought the full transfer rights to Bardi, which were held by then both of the Milanese and of Livorno. Shortly thereafter, the goalkeeper for the 2012/13 season was loaned to Novara Calcio. Novara reached Bardi as a goalkeeper in fifth place in the table, failed in Ascension Play-offs but at Empoli FC. In July 2013 Bardi extended his contract with Inter until 30 June 2017, but was simultaneously loaned to his youth club Livorno, who had previously secured promotion to the Serie A.

In the National Team

Francesco Bardi ran on for various junior national teams of Italy. In 2009 he took part in both the U-17 European Championship and at the U- 17 World Cup as a substitute goalkeeper. His debut for the U- 21 team of his country, he gave March 24, 2011 against the Swedes. In the U-21 European Championship in 2013 in Israel, he reached with his team to second place after was beaten in the final of Spain with 2:4. Bardi was selected after the tournament in which 23 players comprehensive All-Star selection.
