Andréa Zimmermann

Andréa Ursina Zimmermann ( born August 18, 1978 in Biel / Bienne ) from Monthey is a Swiss ski mountaineer.

By participating in the Trophée du Muveran in 2000 they earned their first competition in the sport and since 2001 a member of the Swiss national ski mountaineering.

Success (selection)

  • 2002: 10th place ski mountaineering at the World Championships team with Gabrielle Magnenat
  • 2004: 2nd place in the Patrouille des Glaciers with Gabrielle Magnenat and Jeanine Bapst
  • 8th place in the World Cup ski mountaineering team with Gabrielle Magnenat
  • 2005: 4th place at the European Championship team race with Séverine Pont -Combe
  • 5th place in the Pierra Menta with Jeanine Bapst
  • 2006: 6th place in the World Cup ski mountaineering team with Gabrielle Magnenat
  • 2007: 5th place in the Pierra Menta with Gabrielle Magnenat
  • 7th place at the Trofeo Mezzalama with Anne Carron - Bender and Christine Diaque
  • Victory at the mountain ultramarathon in Courmayeur - Champex - Chamonix
