Andrei Glanzmann

Andrei Glanzmann ( born March 27, 1907 in Epenes, Austria - Hungary, † after 1947 ) was a Romanian football player. He played 36 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A, and participated in the first FIFA World Cup finals in 1930.

Career

Glanzmann began his career at CAO Oradea. In 1930 he played for a short time for Ripensia Timişoara, which as a professional team at that time but not allowed to participate in the Games to the Romanian Football Championship. He returned the same year to CAO.

As the Romanian professional league Divizia A was founded in 1932, CAO was one of the founding members and Glanzmann came on 9 October 1932 to its first use. National

Glanzmann played 13 games for the Romanian national football team and scored two goals. Without having previously played one international match, coach Costel Rădulescu nominated him for the squad of the football World Cup in Uruguay in 1930, but did not put it on. In the 1946/47 season Glanzmann was coach of Dermagant Targu Mures in Divizia A.
