Anne Dudley
Anne Dudley ( born May 7, 1956 in Chatham, Kent, England as Anne Jennifer Beckingham ) is a British composer and pop musician.
Life
International Anne Dudley is particularly made famous by the group Art of Noise, in which she was a member.
Anne Dudley began her career as a classical composer, but moved into the field of composition for commercials and later worked as a studio musician. At this time, she met producer Trevor Horn know and worked with him for bands like ABC and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Furthermore, she was a founding member of the group Art of Noise, which had its focus particularly in the area of synth and sample music.
Since 1987, she has mainly composed film music and was involved in more than 40 film and television productions. In 2004 she produced and wrote the album Voice by Alison Moyet. Anne Dudley and Alison Moyet are neighbors.
She was between January 2002 and January 2005 Composer of the BBC Concert Orchestra.
