The arable Chamomile ( Anthemis arvensis ) is a plant in the sunflower family ( Asteraceae).

Description

The arable Chamomile grows as a one-to two -year herbaceous plant that reaches the heights of growth between 10 and 50 centimeters. It has branched, spreading or erect stems. The change-constant leaves are pinnate multiply and give off when crushed no characteristic odor.

The flowering period extends in Germany and Austria from June to September. The basket- shaped inflorescence has a diameter of 2 to 3 centimeters.
