Antonio Núñez

Antonio Núñez Tena ( born January 15, 1979 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football player.

Antonio Núñez started his football career at the relatively unknown Spanish club CD San Federico, and CD Las Rosas. There he made the second team of Real Madrid attention to himself, which he joined in 2001. After two years he was appointed to the first team of the " Royal ", but where he could not prevail again and already left the club after a year. He was drawn for the 2003/04 season to the great English club Liverpool FC, where he was first thrown back by a serious knee injury and was missing for nearly three months. Nevertheless, he succeeded in the League Cup final 3-2 against Chelsea a goal and he won as a substitute with Liverpool UEFA Champions League. 2005 he moved to the then Spanish climber Celta Vigo, with which he, however, descended from the first division in 2007.

After a streaky year it pulled the midfielder in the summer of 2008 Premiership relegated Real Murcia.
