AN/USQ-20

The AN/USQ-20, or Naval Tactical Data System ( NTDS ), was a computer system. It solved the AN/USQ-17-System from the same instruction set. The German Navy used the system as part of SATIR first time on a destroyer. The first 17 computers were delivered in 1961 to the United States Navy. A Modified version of AN/USQ-20 that were used by the U.S. military and by NASA, was sold under the name UNIVAC 1206. A variant of the AN/USQ-20 referred to as G-40 was used for the Bomarc missile program.

The system was the size of an old refrigerator, about 1.8 meters high.
