The Arcellinida are a group housing bearing amoebae of Tubulinea.
Features
Arcellinida are amoeboid protozoa that are always provided with a shell ( testa). The shells lying outside the cell membrane and consist of organic or mineral materials that are either secreted or include external particles. The shell comprises a single main opening.
System
The first description of Arcellinida wrote in 1880 William Saville Kent. Ralf Meister field they classified 2002 as order and divided them into three sub-orders with sixteen families, Adl et al. However, in 2012 give a significantly more compact system at:
