Argenteuil Regional County Municipality
Argenteuil is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the administrative region of Laurentides and consists of nine subordinate administrative units (two cities, three cantonal municipalities, three towns and one village ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1983. The main town is Lachute. The population is 30,806 and the area 1236.3 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 24.9 inhabitants per km ².
