Ariadaeus is an impact crater on the Moon's front page on the western edge of the Sea of ​​Tranquility, north of Dionysius and at the eastern end of the moon groove Rima Ariadaeus. The crater is bowl-shaped and hardly eroded.

The crater was founded in 1935 by the IAU by the Macedonian King Philip III. Arrhidaios officially named.
