Arno Del Curto

Arno Del Curto ( born July 23, 1956 in St. Moritz ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player and current coach, who has a contract with HC Davos since 1996.

Career

As a player, Del Curto was for the EHC St. Moritz and GC ( today GCK Lions ) in the first league, the third-highest Swiss league, as well as for the Zürcher SC in the National League B in use. A severe knee injury ( ankle fracture) finished his playing career at the age of 21 years early.

After Del Curto had passed into Buochs ​​, Reinach and Küsnacht various teams in the amateur leagues as head coach, he took over in 1990 with the SC Herisau in the second highest Swiss League, where he was a year behind the band, the first time a team in a professional league. The following year he was engaged by the Zurich SC, whose team he led three years in the National League A.
