Arrondissement of Évreux

The district Évreux is an administrative unit of the department of Eure in the French region of Haute -Normandie. Capital ( seat of the prefecture ) is Évreux.

Effective on January 1, 2006 an administrative reform was carried out. The cantons Louviers Louviers and North - South switched from arrondissement to arrondissement Les Andelys Évreux, and the Canton Amfreville- la -Campagne was separated from the district Évreux and assigned to the arrondissement Bernay.

The district consists of 15 cantons Évreux and 237 municipalities.
