Arrondissement of Ribeauvillé
The district is an administrative district in the Ribeauvillé Haut -Rhin in the Alsace region of France.
History
On 4 March 1790, founded with the establishment of the department of Haut-Rhin, a district of Colmar, which is also the area now arrondissements Ribeauvillé included at the time with. On February 17, 1800 from the Arrondissement of Colmar was founded.
On May 18, 1871, the area was re-cut as a circle Rappoltsweiler in the district of Upper Alsace in the National Rural Alsace-Lorraine. The group comprised 459 km ² and at that time had 61 791 inhabitants in 1885.

Geography
The district is bordered to the north by the district Sélestat - Erstein in the department of Bas- Rhin, in the east and south of the arrondissement of Colmar and the west by the district of Saint- Dié -des- Vosges in the Vosges department (Lorraine ).
