Ashley Rae Phillips ( born February 21, 1986 in Beverly, Massachusetts) is a former American football player and current - trainer.

Career

As a player

Association

Before, during and after their studies at Clemson University Phillips played for the Boston Renegades of the franchises or Atlanta Silverbacks in the W- League. In 2009 she ran for the WPSL subscriber Boston Aztec, before she moved in the same year in the WPS to the Boston Breakers for which it was active until 2011.

In April 2013, Phillips was committed to a so-called Discovery Player of the newly founded NWSL franchise in the Breakers, her league debut on April 14, 2013 against Washington Spirit. Was she in the first half of the season still master keeper of the Breakers, it was mostly preferred the later undertook Alyssa Naeher in the rest of the season. At the end of the season Phillips' player contract in Boston was not renewed, instead she joined the 2014 season as a co- coach and goalkeeper in the coaching staff to Tom Durkin.

Phillips played for the U.S. junior national teams in the age groups U-16, U -17, U -19, U -21 and U- 23rd

As a trainer

Since 2010, Phillips is assistant coach Tracey Leone at the women's football team from Northeastern University in Boston. As of the 2014 season it also acts as a co- trainer and keeper of the Boston Breakers.
