At-Tayyib Abu'l-Qasim

Abū l - Qāsim aṭ - Tayyib (Arabic أبو القاسم الطيب ) is the Imam of the 21 - Musta'li Tayyibi - Ismailis. These are referred to by Tayyib as Tayyibiten or Ṭayyibī (Arabic طيبي ), after the last recognized by them ( twenty-first ) Imām. He is following the tradition of the tayyibitischen Musta'liten the son of Al -Amir (1096-1130), 20th Imam of the Ismailis.

The majority of Musta'lis believed that at- Tayyib had disappeared, but he in a concealment staying as the Mahdi, as originally believed the Ismailis of Muhammad ibn Ismail.

The Musta'liten distinction is made between the Tayyibiten (al- Ṭayyibiyya ) and the Hafiziten (al- Ḥāfiziyya ), the al - Hafiz, the Fatimid rulers of Egypt between 1130-1169 recognize as legitimate Imam, and not at- Tayyib. The Hafiziten lost all support after the downfall of the Fatimid dynasty; today Musta'liyya are all Tayyibiten.
