Template: Infobox River / Obsolete

The Aveyron is a river in France, which runs into the regions of Burgundy and Centre. It rises in the municipality of Champcevrais, is dammed up shortly after its origin in the Etang de Chatre and used for irrigation of the palace gardens of the Château de Chatre. It drains then north to north-west through the countryside Gâtinais and ends after 30 kilometers in the municipality of Montbouy as a right tributary of the Loing, which here runs parallel to the navigation channel Canal de Briare. On his way to the Aveyron crosses the departments of Yonne and Loiret.
