Axxess & Ace is the third studio album by American indie rock band Songs: Ohia to the songwriter Jason Molina. The album was recorded in the Truck Stop Studios in Chicago, Illinois, USA by Michael Krassner.

Background

All tracks on the album were written by Jason Molina. Molina was able to record next Geof Comings, with which it already on previous albums by Songs: Ohia had worked, winning musicians from the environment, which was founded in Los Angeles by Michael Krassner band Boxhead Ensemble. Molina presented the musicians finished songs before the first day of recording. The album was recorded almost entirely live in the sequence.

Publication

The album was released on 15 March 1999 by Secretly Canadian on CD and LP. Both editions carry the part number SC024 and in Germany in the distribution of Cargo Records available.
