The Badalona Dracs (founded as Badalona Drags ) are an American football team from Badalona, Catalonia, Spain.
Club history
The Badalona Dracs were founded by Pere Moliner, the first president of the association, Ramón Ventura and the Italian Alfonso Genchi as the first Spanish football club in December 1987. In May of the following year, the Dracs organized their first game against the Italian club Palermo Cardinals (12-18), which also was the first American football game on Spanish soil. 1988 ado a strong league of four teams, with the L' Hospitalet Pioners, Barcelona boxer and the Barcelona Búfals was founded, which was won by the Dracs.
After some difficult years in the early 1990s was only in the 1997/1998 season with the New Mexican coach Carlos Baroccio the first Spanish league title, the Spanish League, founded in 1995 ( LNFA ), are obtained.
