Bahá'í calendar

The Baha'i calendar, named after the religion of Bahai, is a solar calendar with 19 months with 19 days plus four additional days and a leap day inserted when needed.

The year begins in the Bahai calendar with the Spring Day and night are equally determined in accordance with the ancient Iranian calendar. The calendar begins at sunset of the preceding sunny day.

The year 1 of the Baha'i Era ( abbreviated BE) is the year 1844/1845 of the Gregorian calendar (starting on March 21, 1844).

The Bab (1819-1850), the founder of the religion Babism, has described the Badi (Arabic: " wonderful, unique " ) or Bab calendar in the Kitab -i - Asma (Arabic " Book of Names ").
