Bait ul-Futuh

Bait ul- Futuh ( Urdu بیت الفتوح, DMG Bait al - Futuh, House of Victory ') in London is the largest mosque in Western Europe and the largest mosque of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community ( AMJ ) outside Pakistan. For nomenclature see also Futuh.

History

On 3 October 2003, the Mosque of Ahmad Mirza Masrur, the Khilafat ul- Massih V. opened with the Friday Sermon. However, the foundation stone was laid Mirza Tahir Ahmad its predecessor in 1998.

The mosque can accommodate 4,500 worshipers (the building for a total of about 10,000 ). The mosque was due to lack of space in the Fazl Mosque, which can accommodate between 100 and 150 believers built. Location

The mosque is located in the south-west London in the district of Morden in the London Road near the railway station Morden South.

Building and construction

The Bait ul- Futuh has two minarets which are 35 m and 23.5 m high. The dome has a diameter of 16 meters and is located on a floor height of approximately 23 meters.
