BÃ¥lsta

Bålsta is a locality ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Uppsala County and the municipal capital of Håbo.

The settlement is located about 40 km north- west of Stockholm and 50 km south of Uppsala. Most of the approximately 13,000 inhabitants moved to 1970 in the place. Many residents commute to work in the cities mentioned. Since 2001 Bålsta is the terminus for a line of the suburban train from Stockholm.

In a barn of artists and collectors Lasse Åberg has set up a museum to Disney characters.
