Ban Haet District

Amphoe Ban Haet ( Thai: อำเภอ บ้าน แฮ ด ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Khon Kaen. The Khon Kaen Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from the south clockwise): the Amphoe Ban Phai, Mancha Khiri Phra Yuen and Mueang Khon Kaen in the province of Khon Kaen and Amphoe Maha Sarakham Province Kosum Phisai.

History

Ban Haet was on 1 April 1995 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the area of ​​today's district was separated from Amphoe Ban Phai.

On 15 May 2007, the Thai government had decided that all 81 King Amphoe to rise in the simple Amphoe status to unify the administration. With the publication in the Royal Gazette " Issue 124 chapter 46" of 24 August 2007, this decision officially entered into force.

Administrative units

Amphoe Ban Haet is ( tambon) divided into four municipalities, which in turn in 45 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are three small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Ban Haet ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ้าน แฮ ด ), consisting of parts of the tambon Ban Haet,
  • Wang Sawan ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล วัง สวรรค์ ), consisting also of ( other ) parts of the tambon Ban Haet
  • Khok Samran ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล โคก สำราญ ), consisting of Tambon Khok Samran throughout.

There are also two administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
