Banca Popolare of Emilia Romagna ( BPER ) is an Italian company with headquarters in Modena.

The company provides financial services of various kinds. It was founded in 1867 under the name of Banca Popolare di Modena. In 1983 the company merged with Banca Cooperativa di Bologna. In 1992, the Italian bank Banca Popolare di Cesena was taken, the name was then changed to Banca Popolare of Emilia Romagna. The company holds, among other things, more than 75 % of the shares of the Bank.
