Bănel Nicoliță

Bănel Nicoliţă (born 7 January 1985 in faurei, Circle Brăila ) is a Romanian football player. He is since September 2011 with AS Saint- Étienne in the French Ligue 1 under contract, is in the 2013/14 season but to FC Nantes on loan.

Career

Nicoliţă began his career in 2001 in the Romanian Dacia Unirea Brăila Divizia B at. In the summer of 2004 he moved to the first division FCU Politehnica Timişoara. Since the winter break of the season 2004/ 05 he is the Romanian club Steaua Bucharest under contract by which he was at first twice in a row Romanian champions. Nicoliţă is both and plays in the right midfield with the shirt number 16 He had thirteen operations in the UEFA Cup. In 2011, he won the Romanian Cup with Steaua. On September 7, 2011, he moved to Ligue 1 for AS Saint- Étienne. In the 2013/14 season he was loaned to FC Nantes.

National

Nicoliţă with currently 31 inserts and a goal since 2005 Romanian national team. With Romania, he took part in the 2008 European Football Championship.
