The Baptism River is a tributary of Lake Superior in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
The Baptism River is formed at the confluence of its two headwaters of East Branch and West Branch Baptism River near Finland. The river cuts through the Canadian Shield on the north shore of Lake Superior and flows finally 7 km northeast of Silver Bay in this. The river overcomes the Tettegouche located in the State Park 18 -meter waterfall High Falls. The Baptism River has a length of 14.2 km. The catchment area of the Baptism River has 218 km ².
