Barbara Taylor Bradford

Barbara Taylor Bradford ( born May 10, 1933, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom) is an English novelist.

Life

After schooling Bradford first worked in the typing pool of the Yorkshire Evening Post, before turning to journalism. At the age of 20 she was a fashion - rapporteur in the magazine Woman 's Own Magazine and on the editorial board and responsible for the Fleet Street reporting at the evening newspaper the London Evening News.
