Barbarian Queen is an American- Argentine fantasy film from the year 1985. Barbarian movie had with Barbarian Queen II 1989 a successor.
Action
In the time of the Roman Empire, the inhabitants of a simple village prepare the wedding of their king with his queen, as they are suddenly attacked and plundered by Roman troops. Only the Queen can with their two strongest warriors to survive and escape the attack. These now make every effort to free the sister of the Queen, who is being held as a slave of the Roman commander, and the king, who was dragged into the arena of gladiators. After her fellow activists were killed and she was taken prisoner himself, the queen is freed after brutal torture of a living in the underground resistance movement, which it joins in revenge of their subjects and to rescue the slaves.
