Barry De Vorzon

Barry De Vorzon, Barry DeVorzon ( born July 31, 1934 in New York City ) is an American composer, songwriter, singer and music producer.

Life

Barry de Vorzon was born the son of a wealthy singer and violinist Jules De Vorzon. The family moved in the 1950s to Palm Springs. He also signed a contract for RCA Records as a singer. His four published from 1957 to 1959 singles did not sell well. However, he was successful as a songwriter. So were just married, sung by Marty Robbins, and Treasure Of Your Love, sung by Eileen Rodgers, highly successful hits. He then signed a contract with Columbia Records. He worked in New York, founded by Billy Billy Sherman Sherman and managed henceforth some musicians like Dorsey Burnette, Johnny Burnette and Bobby Bare. 1962 signed with Valiant Records, a music group called The Coastliners. De Vorzon called into The Cascades and from then wrote some songs for them. Overall, he was very productive until the 1970s. So lists alone Broadcast Music Incorporated 1221 songs by Barry de Vorzon.

From the 1970s he also began to compose film music. After his debut fight with the gowns followed by films like The Warriors, so a team is not it one more time and traffic problems. He had his greatest success when he with his song Bless the Beasts and the Children was nominated for Best Song at the Academy Awards in 1972.
