Bartonia virginica

Bartonia is a plant genus in the family of the Gentian Family ( Gentianaceae ). The only three species are native to North America.

Description

The types Bartonia species grow as an annual or biennial herbaceous plants. The leaves are arranged in pairs, reduces small, tight-fitting scales.

The radial symmetry flowers are cruciform. There are four green sepals and four petals present. It is formed a small, unilocular capsule fruit.

Dissemination

The Bartonia species are native to North America in the eastern and southern.
