Basarab Panduru

Nică Basarab Panduru ( born July 11, 1970 in Mârzăneşti, county Teleorman ) is a former Romanian football player and current coach. He played a total of 200 games in the Romanian Divizia A, the Portuguese Primeira Divisão and the Swiss National League A. As a national player, he participated in the World Cup 1994. Since summer 2010 he has been without a club.

Career as a player

The career of Panduru began in 1987 at the age of 17 years in Divizia B CSM Resita. There he played until the end of 1990, when it overtook the Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest in the Divizia A. Panduru debuted on March 10, 1991 away game against FCM Progresul Brăila and was already in the second round in 1990/91 fight for a regular place. National

Panduru played 22 games for the Romanian national football team. He made his debut on 12 February 1992 in a friendly match against Greece. He first came under Cornel Dinu infrequently used.
