Başmakçı

Başmakçı is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Afyonkarahisar. The city is located about 110 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital of Afyonkarahisar.

The district is located in the southwest of the province. It is bordered on the west by Dazkırı, on the north by Evciler and dinar and on the south by the provinces of Isparta, Burdur and Denizli. To the west of the county town is part of the Lake Acıgöl, in the southeast of the circle a spur of up to 1831 meters high mountains Söğüt Dagi.
