Bayındır

Bayındır is a town and a district in the Turkish province of Izmir and at the same time a municipality of Büyükşehir Belediyesi ( city municipality ) İzmir. The city is located about 50 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital of İzmir on the road from Torbalı after Ödemiş.

The district is located in the eastern center of the province. It is bordered to the northwest by Kemalpaşa, on the west by Torbalı, to the south Tire, on the east by Ödemiş and on the northeast by the province of Manisa. The city lies on the southern slope of the mountain Boz Dağları.
