Beáta Rakonczai

Beata Rakonczai ( born June 25, 1977 in Nyíregyháza ) is a Hungarian long-distance runner.

In 1999 and 2000 she was national champion in the 10,000 m, 2001, Cross Country and 2008 over 5000 m.

In 2000, she won the Würzburg Residenz run. The following year she won the Grand Prix of Prague, came at the World Half Marathon Championships in Bristol on the 26th place and finished fourth at the Zevenheuvelenloop. In 2002 she won the half-marathon competition of the Linz Marathon.

In 2003, she won at the night of Borgholzhausen and set course records for the half marathon competition of the Wachau- marathon and in Carinthia runs on. When Portugal Half Marathon she finished third and the Amsterdam Marathon fourth. In 2004 she was nominated in Athens for the marathon of the Olympic Games after a sixth place in the Paris Marathon, in which she broke in on rank 48.

In 2006, she finished sixth at the Great Manchester Run, finishing in the Road Race World Championships in Debrecen the 24th Place. In 2007, she finished second at the Houston Marathon. In a marathon, the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, they did not reach the target.
