Béchara Pierre Cardinal OMM Raï (Arabic مار بشارة بطرس الراعي, DMG Mār Bisara Butrus ar -Ra ʿ ī; born February 25, 1940 in Himlaya, Governorate Mount Lebanon, Lebanon ) is Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and all the East.

Life

Béchara Raï resigned after his schooling at the College Notre -Dame in Louayzé in the Mariamitischen Maronite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He studied philosophy and Catholic theology at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome.
