Beckov

Beckov ( Beckow German, Hungarian Becko ) is a municipality in western Slovakia. It is located in the northern hill country on the Danube river Vah at the foot of Inowetz, 8 km from Nové Mesto nad Váhom and 21 km from Trenčín.

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1208. She is known for the castle Beckov.
