Before I Self Destruct (Eng. Before I destroy myself ) is the fourth studio album by American rapper 50 Cent. It was released on November 9, 2009 on the label Shady Records and Aftermath Entertainment.
Production and samples
The beats of the album come from many different producers. Dr. Dre created in collaboration with Mark Batson, the instrumentals to the songs Death to My Enemies and Ok, You're Right, while he produced Psycho along with Eminem. The Beat of The Invitation was created by Ty Fyffe and Manny Perez and Then Days Went By comes from Lab Ox and Vikaden. The piece So Disrespectful was produced by Tha Bizness and demo team created the beat to Crimewave. The instrumental from Hold Me Down is from Team Ready and J keys during stretch was produced by Rick Rock. Nascent and QB because problem show itself responsible for the production to Strong Enough. Created the beat of Get It Hot Black Key and Havoc produced Gangsta's Delight. For the instrumental to I Got Swag is Dual Output shows responsible. Polow da Don produced Baby by Me and Rockwilder created the beat for Do You Think About Me Also, DJ Khalil produced the beat to the bonus song Could've Been You.
Seven songs contain samples from other songs. So Then Days Went By samples the song Is not No Sunshine by Michael Jackson and Psycho contains items from The Age of Love ( OPM Mix) Age of Love. Crimewave contains samples of the tracks I Can not Believe You're Gone by The Barrino Brothers, and This Is Family by rapper Fabolous. The title Strong Enough is sampling the song If I Were Your Woman of the Soul - singing band Gladys Knight & the Pips, during Gangsta's Delight elements of the piece Rapper's Delight includes the Sugar Hill Gang. Furthermore, I Got Swag is sampling the song A Love That 's Worth Having by Willie Hutch, and Plug Tunin 'by De La Soul and Baby by Me contains a sample of 50 cents own song I Get Money.

Five songs from the album included guest contributions from other artists. So 50 cents at Psycho is supported by its discoverer and label boss Eminem, while you hear on the song Get It Hot G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks. The singer Governor is involved in Do You Think About Me, and R & B artist Ne -Yo is represented in Baby by Me. Also, R. Kelly made a guest appearance on the bonus song Could've Been You.

Before I Self Destruct rose in the 49th calendar week of 2009 at number 36 in the German album charts, took the position in the following week 91 and then left the top 100 in the U.S., the album debuted at number 5 and was able to hold 14 weeks in the charts.
As singles the songs Ok, You're Right, Baby by Me (DE # 26, 9 wk. ) And Do You Think About Me were released.

For more than 500,000 copies sold was Before I Self Destruct awarded in the United States with a gold record.
