Berenberg Verlag

The Berenberg Verlag was founded in 2004 by Petra and Heinrich von Berenberg based in Berlin. The publisher focus form ( auto) biographical literature, essay literature and memoir literature.

History

In the fall of 2004, the first four books were published in the Berenberg Verlag. On the concept of the publisher is to publish high-quality books belongs.

Heinrich von Berenberg worked before publishing inception 20 years as an editor and translator in the publishing Klaus Wagenbach, for which he, inter alia, Michel Houellebecq and Roberto Bolaño discovered. He was awarded the 2010 Karl- Heinz- Zillmer price of the Hamburg Cultural Foundation for meritorious act of publishing.

Program

Since autumn 2010 fiction titles to be laid. In August 2012, publishing poetry also appears in Berenberg first time. The bilingual series opens with poems by the American Jeffrey Yang and the Argentine Sergio Raimondi.
