Beseech

Beseech ( engl. implore, summon ) is a 1992 founded in Borås ( near Gothenburg ) Swedish band.

History

In the same year the foundation published Beseech her ​​first demo. Then you played a mixture of Death and Doom Metal and stabbed in the scene, especially through the use of classical instruments and female vocals out.

Her first recording contract the band signed in 1995 with We Bite / Corrosion Records and played the album ... From A Bleeding Heart one that was not released provisionally due to financial problems of the record company. This was only two years later, when Beseech parted from her old label and signed to Metal Blade Records, then in 1998 still brought the album to the market. However, within the two years Beseech had already gained a lot of new ideas and songs, which you hardly focused on the promotional tour for the old album, but already dated back a while.

Shortly after, the band split and again by Metal Blade Records and signed after negotiations with several labels with Pavement Music. The new material was more in the direction of dark rock and gothic metal - from then on the dominant musical path the band. At this time found Beseech with Lotta Höglin finally a solid singer.

In summer 2000, then appeared the album Black Emotions, which received many good reviews. Shortly after a tour with Theatre of Tragedy and Lacuna Coil but the former vocalist Jörgen Sjöberg left the band. Replacement was found in Erik Molarin, which gave the music by its very deep singing new facets. Once again, the record company got financial problems, which was barely promoted and Black Emotions Beseech 2001, along with many other bands, left the label.

With a re-recorded demo, the band then got a contract with Napalm Records and Souls Highway published in 2002 their third album. The album was well promoted, received good reviews all over the world and the song Between The Lines even a video clip was filmed.

In 2004, the album was released drama, which surpassed the success of Souls Highway. The music drama was as much harder and more complex. Followed in 2005 by the fifth album, Sunless Days, which has persisted in the musical development of its predecessor drama. For song Inner Lane, a video was produced which is entirely computer animated.

On 19 October 2006 the band announced on their website their resolution known. The basic personal differences and different views about the musical future of the band were given. A farewell concert was held in the Swedish Boras on 15 December 2006. In 2007, most recently even the release of a live DVD planned.
