Bezpraw

Bezpraw ( German Kautz mountain ) is a dwelling-place in Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It is located in the rural community of Kolobrzeg.

Geographical Location and Transport

The living space is located in Pomerania about 6 kilometers south of the city center of Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg) in the province road 102, the course of which corresponds here to the former National Highway 161. In the village the leading province road branches off to the south 162.

The living space is located on the western slope of the mountain of the same Kautz. This 19 meter high hill is visible from the Baltic Sea and therefore once served as a landmark for sailors.

Previously here was the breakpoint Kautz mountain rail line of the novel - Kolberg Kolberg small train.

History

The Kautz mountain was already mentioned in 1316 as Cuscenberg.

The living space itself grew out of a jug and Chausseehaus. At the turn of the 19th to the 20th century it belonged to a political part to independent city Kolberg ( the Gemeindelexikon of 1925 is this the place name on the Kautz mountain ), and partly to the municipality Ross Thin in Kolberg- Körlin circle. The Kolberger living space Kautz Berg had 14 inhabitants in 1871, 1895 and 1905 9 inhabitants 12 inhabitants. The Ross Unterthiner living space Kautz Berg had 13 inhabitants in 1905.

After the Second World War the place as quite Pomerania came to Poland and was awarded the Polish name Bezpraw.
