The Kerka (Slovenian Velika Krka) is a 60 km long river in Hungary. The sources, however, lie in the Slovenian community Šalovci. From there, the river flows towards the east, where it reaches about 15 km from the Hungarian territory. On Hungarian territory, the river turns south-east and later to the south the city Lenti.
Just before the river again leaves Hungary to Slovenia, it flows into the Ledava that originates in Austria and flows into the river Mur.
