Bintanding Jarju

Bintanding Jarju ( born April 10, 1957) is a politician in the West African nation of Gambia.

After her education, she attended from 1965 from 1977 for one year the Rural Development Institute in Mansa Konko. Then from 1981 to 1982 she was in Cameroon to the Pan African Institute for Development and from graduation, she earned a diploma in rural development (English Diploma in Rural Development ).

Employee she was in the Department of Social Development (English Department of Community Development ). From 2001 she worked in Parliament.

In the parliamentary elections of 2002 Jarju ran as candidate of the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC ) in the constituency Foni Berefet for election and was the constituency, lack of opposition candidates, successfully win them over. In the following 2007 elections Jawla remained unopposed and represented the constituency continues in Parliament. From 2004, she was the same deputy (2004-2009 and 2009-2014), the Pan-African Parliament of the African Union nominated. There, she worked in the Committee on Gender Equality.
