Bishop Island

Bishop Iceland is an island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago -. It is located 500 meters off the coast of Baffin Iceland in the Frobisher Bay and is part of the territory of Nunavut. Its capital Iqaluit is located roughly 13 km northeast. Bishop Iceland is irregularly shaped, has numerous small lakes and is up to 100 m high. The maximum diameter is about 6 km. In the immediate vicinity of the island are Hill Iceland and Iceland Faris

The island was named by the U.S. Arctic explorer Charles Francis Hall.
