Bjerkreim is a commune in the Norwegian Rogaland. The geographical area in which the municipality is located, is called Dalane. The municipality is bordered to the north by Gjesdal, to the east by Sirdal, in the south of Lund and Eigersund and to the west by Hå and Time. The community center is located Vikeså on the European road E 39, the main road between Stavanger, Kristiansand and Oslo. On both sides of the road lies the archaeological examined Wüstung Storrsheia.
