Blaž Gregorc

Blaž Gregorc ( born January 18, 1990 in Jesenice, SR Slovenia) is a Slovenian ice hockey player, who was last to March 2012 at the Södertälje SK in the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan under contract.

Career

Blaž Gregorc began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the HK Bled, in which he was active until 2007. Then the defender moved to the youth department of Södertälje SK from Sweden. For the professional team of Södertälje SK he was in the 2009/10 season his debut in the Elitserien, the highest Swedish league. In his rookie year he prepared in the main round three goals in 30 games before. With his team he reached the league until the Kvalserien. Players out on loan as he also completed seven games for the Nyköping HK from the Division 1, the third Swedish league. In the season 2010/ 11 of the Slovenian had to rejoin with Södertälje at the Kvalserien, but this time he went with his team in the second-class HockeyAllsvenskan. In this he played in parallel as early as the 2010/11 season in 16 games as Players out on loan for Växjö Lakers Hockey. Following the 2011/12 season, in which he had accrued for the Södertälje SK in the HockeyAllsvenskan, his contract was terminated in Sweden.

Internationally

For Slovenia Gregorc took at junior level at the U18 World Junior Championships Division I 2006, 2007 and 2008 and the U20 World Junior Championships Division I 2008, 2009 and 2010 in part. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the 2011 World Championships and the World Championship of Division IA 2012.
