Boize in Schwartow

The river rises west of the Schaalsees and Seedorfer kitchen lake in the east of Schleswig-Holstein, near the village Seedorf on a high level of about 40 m above sea level. NHN in a wooded area called Birkenort. From here on the Boize runs in a southerly direction initially very winding until it forms on a section east of Gudow the border between Schleswig -Holstein and Mecklenburg- Vorpommern.
