Bönningstedt
Bönningstedt is a municipality in the district of Pinneberg, in Schleswig -Holstein. The municipality consists of the villages Winzeldorf and Rugenbergen.

Geography
Bönningstedt is situated on the national highway 4 and the Federal Highway 7 just north of Hamburg. The Mühlenau and Rugenwedelsau flow through the community, are also parts of the state forest Rantzau in the area of the municipality.
History
First hunters settled 7000 years before Christ in Bönningstedt. The crop and livestock farming held 5000 years before Christ entered the church. A clay pot from 2000 BC is now on display in the Altona Museum.

Economy and infrastructure
For trade and industry, the community offers three settlement options. The commercial area Goosmoortwiete, the industrial area on the northern ring and the area on Ellerhorst.
